ACVE – Strategic Support for Global Trade

The Association of Certified Vietnamese Exporters was established with the aim of connecting European companies with verified and long-term reliable partners in Vietnam.

The Association Operates as an Independent Platform

ACVE is a leading professional association dedicated to strengthening the position of European companies in the Vietnamese market. Our mission is to remove barriers in international trade and provide comprehensive consulting services that enable businesses to grow beyond regional boundaries.

We focus on technical precision and strategic clarity at every stage of the business relationship.

We address common challenges in international trade – lack of transparency, difficulties in supplier verification, language and cultural barriers, and the high risks associated with establishing new business partnerships.

How Do We Verify Vietnamese Exporters?

A certified Vietnamese exporter is a business partner that has been thoroughly verified by our team and meets strict standards of quality, transparency, and long-term reliability.

Our goal is not to work with the largest possible number of suppliers, but only with those whose stability, quality, and business security we can confidently stand behind.

The certification process is based on an internal audit and in-person verification conducted directly in Vietnam. Each exporter must meet all 10 criteria listed below.

Physical Presence

Every exporter must operate from a real, physical location, whether an office, headquarters, or manufacturing facility. A formal company registration alone is not sufficient. We personally visit and inspect each location on-site, verifying production processes, warehouse capacity, and day-to-day operations. This allows us to eliminate the risk of “paper companies” or intermediaries without direct control over production.

Track Record

We work exclusively with companies that have a proven business history. A minimum of three years of operation allows us to assess business stability, the ability to navigate market fluctuations, and real operational experience. Startups and newly established companies are not included in our certification program.

Export Experience

Every certified exporter must demonstrate proven experience in international trade. We review export documentation, overseas references, logistics processes, and the ability to manage customs procedures. This ensures that each supplier understands international business practices and minimizes the risk of export-related errors.

Minimum Annual Turnover

Financial stability is essential. We require a minimum annual turnover of EUR 1 million, confirming sufficient production capacity, stable cash flow, and the ability to handle larger orders. We only work with companies that are financially healthy and capable of sustainable growth.

Corporate Culture

Team size is an important indicator of operational capacity and professionalism. We work with companies employing at least 25 people. This allows us to avoid small workshops without the capacity to scale.

Personal Relationships

We know every exporter personally. We meet directly with the CEO, founder, or key shareholder. We build partnerships based on trust, not just contracts.

Ownership Structure

We verify who truly owns and controls the company. This includes ownership structure, legal history, and any affiliations with other entities. This helps eliminate the risk of hidden ownership or non-transparent corporate structures.

International Standards

Every exporter must comply with relevant industry certifications such as ISO, HACCP, BRC, or CE. These standards ensure that products meet the requirements of both European and global markets.

Internal Quality Control

Every exporter must have an established internal quality management system. We review production control procedures, final product inspections, and complaint resolution systems. It is not only about product quality, but also about the ability to solve problems professionally.
